About Susan

Susan Allison is a non-equity singer, dancer, and actor from Houston, Texas. One of her earliest memories is her grandmother showing her one of her all-time favorites, Meet Me in St. Louis, starring Judy Garland, and it was that moment when she knew she wanted to have a career in the performing arts.

Susan spent 10 years training at Uptown Dance Centre in their pre-professional ballet program before making the switch to musical theatre. In high school, she discovered her love for choreography and spent her junior and senior years being mentored by her dance teacher. Under her direction, she gained valuable experience learning how to be a choreographer and a dance educator.

Susan is currently earning her B.M. in Musical Theater from Oklahoma City University. She will graduate next spring, and plans to move to New York City to pursue a career in theatre, dance, and television.

When she’s not performing, you can find Susan playing her guitar, going to a pilates class, visiting her hometown beach, and watching reality television. Susan is also very passionate about writing and journalism, and often posts pieces of her writing to her social media.
